Almora is a beautiful town in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It's home to several temples and historic sites, as well as many restaurants and shops selling traditional handicrafts from the surrounding villages. The Jageshwar Dham Temple Complex is one of the most popular attractions in Almora. You can explore these ancient temples, which have been built on top of each other over time, and see how they were intricately carved out by hand.
The temple complex includes several temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, including a Vaishnavite temple complex that was constructed during 16th century AD. There’s also an Ashwamedha sthan (sacred seat) made from stones gathered from all over India which has been described as being “the largest such stone structure in Asia”!
The trek is an easy one and takes around 1 hour. It starts from the hill station at Almora, where you can hire a vehicle to take you to Binsar. After that, there are two options: either go directly to Jalna or stay overnight in Binsar before heading back to Almora the next morning.
If you want to go straight through without stopping anywhere along the way, then it will take about 4 hours; however if you want some sightseeing and relaxation along with your trekking experience then staying overnight would be ideal for this trip because it gives more time for exploration!
When arriving at Jalna/Binsar village after trekking through forested areas full of wildlife such as deer and monkeys (which are fun but not recommended since they may bite), make sure that all food items are secured properly against possible theft by animals who might want some food or drinks too!

Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India. It is located in the valley of Binsar, near the village of Binsar.
The sanctuary encompasses an area of approximately 30 km² (12 sq mi). The name “Binsar” means “twenty-four” or “two hundred” in Sanskrit and it refers to its 24 ponds or lakes. These ponds have been formed by tectonic activity over millions of years through erosion by rainwater runoff into them from surrounding hillsides above them.The sanctuary also contains several streams that flow into these lakes creating them into small meadows with grasses growing along their banks.There are many animals living within this forested area including leopards, tigers, wild boars and deer amongst others.You can explore these forests on foot or bicycle if you wish but remember that some areas may be closed off due to safety concerns so check beforehand!

Kumaoni Raita: One of the most popular local delicacies Fast Food Restaurants in Almora is known as "Kumaoni Raita". Made from yogurt, cucumber juice, tomatoes and other ingredients that go into making this aromatic drink; this dish has been loved by locals ever since its origin! You can find many restaurants serving this local favorite across town too!
The Bright End Corner is a popular tourist spot. It's also the perfect place to capture the beautiful sunset, as it offers some of the best views in Almora. Take your camera and snap away!

The Govind Ballabh Pant Museum is located Near Railway Stations in Almora. It houses a collection of artifacts and memorabilia belonging to this great freedom fighter and politician.
He was born on June 24, 1864 into an affluent family in Kanpur Dehat where he studied till 10th class before moving to Allahabad for further studies. He joined politics at an early age, joining the Indian National Congress party during his college days at Allahabad University where he studied law under Maharaja Ram Prasad Singh Bahadur (1853-1910). He became active in student politics and also worked as a reporter for various newspapers including “The Times of India” during its first independent existence from 1889-1906. After graduating from law college he moved back home where he began practicing law until 1908 when he became involved with public service as a member of Legislative Assembly (MLA). He was elected MLA five times consecutively between 1910-1929 before being appointed Chief Minister again between 1937-1945 after being elected unopposed twice due to no other candidate contesting against him!
