Nagarhole National Park is one of Karnataka's most popular tourist destinations. It's also one of India's oldest wildlife parks, having been established in 1914 by the British Raj. The park covers an area of around 1,120 square miles (that includes Lake Kabini), and it contains amazing flora and fauna that make for some incredible photo opportunities!
There are a number of ways to spot wildlife in Nagarhole National Park, but the best way is by going on a safari. Here's what you need to know about your experience:
Tigers – They're big and beautiful! Tigers are found throughout India, but they're most commonly spotted in Nagarhole National Park. If you happen upon one of these majestic creatures then don't forget to take lots of photos!
Elephants – Another big animal that lives in Nagarhole National Park is an elephant—and there are many species of them too! You can see them while traveling through their natural habitat or watching from afar as they graze on grassy plains during the day time hours (which means no shooting).
Nagarhole National Park is home to over 270 species of birds. Birdwatching opportunities are available in all seasons, but especially during the monsoon when many migratory birds stop by the park. You can also see them in their natural habitats—from lush forests to rugged mountains—so you’re sure to find something that interests you!
Trekking is a great way to get to know the Garden and parks, as well as see wildlife. It's also an excellent way to experience the forest, river and other key elements of Nagarhole National Park.

If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind, and get some fresh air, the Kabini River is a great choice. The Kabini River is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nagarhole National Park. It's also an ideal spot for picnics, swimming or just hanging out by yourself.
The best thing about this area is that there are no other visitors near you! You'll have plenty of space to stretch out on your own blanket or sit under an umbrella with your friends as they enjoy their time together while listening to music from their phones or tablets (if they bring them).
Use a camera with a wide angle lens.
Use a tripod.
Use a remote shutter release, if you have one.
Set your aperture to something between f/8 and f/11, depending on the lighting conditions and your subject's distance from the camera (the closer they are to you, the wider your aperture can be). This will help blur out any unwanted details in their faces as well as show off some of their best features! It also gives them more depth in photos because they won't look like flat portraits anymore!
