You can also see some other monuments such as Assam Legislative Assembly Building and Assam State Museum Complex built by British rulers back then when they ruled over this part of India after defeating Mughals at Battle Of Plassey near Delhi under Sir Robert Clive’s leadership against Nawab Shuja Shah Suri’s forces led by Mir Jaffer Sharfuddin Khwaja Sahib on 5 May 1757 leading up until 1760 when Governor General Warren Hastings came here after defeating Tipoo Sultan at Srirangapatna near Mysore making him surrender unconditionally along with all his generals including Shuja Shah Suri himself thus ending Deccan Wars between Maratha Empire led by Peshwa Baji Rao II versus Mughal Empire led East India Company controlled directly from England through its subsidiary companies like Company LTD (later renamed into Bombay Presidency Company Ltd) etc., whereupon he signed treaty between both parties whereby British officials took control over entire Southern Region including Madras Presidency whereas Nawab Shuja Shah Suri retained only Hyderabad State on agreement made between both parties whereupon he was killed later during imprisonment after being put behind bars without any reason whatsoever except torture inflicted upon him during interrogation sessions; however despite losing most cities including Hyderabad State but still managed to retain power

Sambalpur is a city in the Indian state of Odisha. It is located on the banks of river Mahanadi, which flows along its eastern border with Nepal and Bangladesh.
The city has a rich history. It was founded by Mirza Ismail Khan, an emir of Bengal who came to Odisha in 1703 with his army to fight against Chandragupta Maurya's forces. After defeating them and making peace with him, he settled down here as ruler of this region until 1734 when he left for Delhi where he died three years later leaving behind his son Bahadur Shah Zaffar II who briefly succeeded him before being overthrown by Mir Qasim Ali Khan (son of Tipu Sultan) who became ruler until 1825 when he was assassinated by his nephew Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah who continued ruling until 1835 when he too was assassinated because of violence between two factions led by Sayyad Azmi Biyyatullah 's brother Sayyad Abdul Aziz Biyatullah 's son Sayyad Abdul Rahman Biyatullah ’s son Sayyad Abdul Wahid Biyatullah , etc.. During this period there were several wars between them resulting into deaths especially among women pregnant at that time due mostly due lackadaisical attitude towards their duties like cooking food during siege situations; later on most families did not have enough food supply because government officials took away all grain reserves belonging solely intended for feeding hungry people living within vicinity areas where army camps were located after their arrival!
