The Koli hills are spread across the districts of Nellore and Prakasam.(The two districts are separated by a distance of about 30 km.) The highest point of the range is Chintamani (823 m).

There are many routes that can be taken by hikers but some of them include:
Jhikhi Parvat Trek (Adventure): This trail starts from Chanderi Garh to Nalagarh via Jhikhi Pass (3045m), Kansarjali Pass (3498m) & Sardiha Pass (335m), before reaching Ghooma Valley at 3712 m above sea level where there is a beautiful view point called Bhim Talaiyan which offers breathtaking views of mountain peaks surrounding it like Mera Peak & Poon Hill etc..
Auli Parvat Trek (Adventure): This trail starts from Auli near Almora crosses over Maneri river then continues on trekking route through forests till reaches Chatruk glacier at 4275 meters above sea level where one can enjoy amazing views of snow-capped mountains surrounding him/her during winter season
The highest peak in Koli Hills is Agaya Gangai, which stands at an elevation of 1,100 meters. This mountain is located in the center of Koli hills and can be reached by taking a steep climb up from Bachalpur or via Puthi Loharwa village from Bajwara district.

Koli Hills is also home to several tribal communities, including the Kumbharia and Thadla. The Kumbharia are an indigenous tribe living in the area around Bhimbetka National Park. They have their own language, customs and traditions that are important to them as they live in harmony with nature.
The Thadla people also live in this region but they have migrated from Gujarat State over two centuries ago.[1] They still practice farming using traditional methods that date back thousands of years.[2] These two tribes play an important role in tourism industry by offering visitors a chance to experience their culture first hand through music performances or dance performances.[3]
The Koliyanur Forest Reserve, located in Koli Hills, is home to many tribal communities and has several waterfalls. It is also the location of several temples that are visited by tourists.
The forest reserve was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1983. This meant that there were no commercial activities allowed within its boundaries and also that all development had been prohibited except for certain areas where necessary infrastructure projects could be undertaken under strict guidelines set by the Wildlife Department of Kerala state government.
The Koliyanur Dam is a popular tourist destination in Koli Hills. The dam was built in the early 20th century and has been declared as a national heritage site by the government of India. It is located at an altitude of 439 meters above sea level and provides water to lakhs of people living in different parts of Karnataka state through its reservoir.
The dam has many scenic points that are worth visiting like the Mahavishnu Temple, which can be reached by taking an uphill path from nearby villages; Someshwar Temple, also known as "Brindavan"; Thirumala Devaswom Board Office; Teerthankara Temple (now under renovation); Bhima River Project Office etc.,
It is also known for its scenic beauty with towering peaks surrounding it on all sides making it feel like you're sitting inside a giant bowl filled with water!
The Arapaleeswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a famous pilgrimage site in Koli Hills. This temple was built by Raja Kesava Nayaka of Warangal and it is located at Kollipara village in Kollipara mandal of Warangal district of Telangana state.
The temple was constructed over a period of 15 years between 1484-1512 AD during the rule of Vijayanagara Empire with contributions from different kings such as Bhandari Bahadur Raghuvera II who donated 6 acres land for construction purpose; Jamadagni Maharaj who donated a stone idol worth Rs 2 lakhs; Swami Nityananda Saraswati who gave away Rs 1 lakhs as donation towards maintenance expenditure etc...
The Vaithilingam Waterfalls are located near the town of Sendamangalam. They are an excellent place to visit, as they offer beautiful views and a nice place for swimming.
The Kudumianmalai Temple is located at the foothills of Koli Hills in Sendamangalam, Tamil Nadu. Built around 6th century AD by a South Indian king named Chandragupta Maurya, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the popular pilgrimage sites for tourists.
The temple has been built with stone slabs and has beautiful sculptures on its walls that depict scenes from Hindu mythology with legends associated with it. There are also statues of elephants and horses found inside this temple which will surely amaze you!

The best time to visit Koli Hills is between the months of October and March. These are the only months that the weather in Koli Hills is pleasant, and you can enjoy your trip without having to worry about rain or snow.

The nearest airport to Koli Hills is Tiruchirappalli International Airport. This airport is located in Tiruchirappalli, about 70 km from Koli Hills. It has direct flights to Chennai and Mumbai.
The airport has a bus service that operates between the airport and Koli Hills every morning at 7 AM, returning at 4 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends/public holidays (excluding Sundays). The buses leave from outside Gate 1 of the terminal building; tickets can be purchased from any travel agent or through online booking sites such as BookMyShow or MakeMyTrip.
Koli Hills can be reached by road, and there are regular buses to most parts of the district. The journey takes about an hour or so, depending on where you're going. Buses leave from the main bus stand in Taloda Mandi every 30 minutes during the day and evening hours (6:30 am - 8 pm).
The fare is Rs 15 per person for bus journeys within Taloda Mandi/Koli Hills town limits as well as beyond them; this includes a transfer from one bus stop to another (for example, if you want to go from Taloda Mandi Bus Stop A1M1 down along Main Road towards Kotputli Village). There's also an additional charge for travel within Koli Hills itself—Rs 20 per person—but this does not include any transfers whatsoever!
