St. Aloysius Chapel is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture, and it's one of the most popular attractions in Mangalore. The chapel was built in 1789 by Fr. Joseph Mathias, who took over from his predecessor when he became ill with malaria. It features frescoes on its ceiling depicting scenes from the life of Christ and also contains an organ which was commissioned by Queen Victoria herself!

The Mangaladevi Temple is a popular tourist attraction in Mangalore and is located at the heart of the city. The temple was built during the 15th century by the rulers of Kollegal and attracts thousands of visitors every year. It houses an idol of Goddess Mangaladevi, who was believed to be an incarnation of Parvati (the wife of Shiva).
The temple opens from 6 am until 9 pm during weekdays, while it remains open 24 hours on weekends and holidays.
Panambur Beach is a popular tourist destination in Mangalore and can be a good place to spend a day. The beach has a wide range of restaurants, shops and hotels that cater to all tastes. It also has beautiful sand dunes, which are ideal for recreational activities like jogging or cycling around the area.

It is a great way to see the beauty of Mangalore from another perspective, and it’s also an ideal way to get some fresh air after spending all day indoors. The ride lasts for about 15 minutes, so make sure you don’t overbook yourself with too many activities in one day!
Surathkal Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Mangalore. The beach has a large expanse, which makes it a good place to visit during the monsoon season. In fact, this beach has been voted as one of the best places for watching sunsets on Earth by TIME magazine in their Top 10 list for 2017.

If you're looking for a place to relax and chill out, Pabbas Ice Cream Factory is the perfect spot. Located in Mangalore city, this ice cream factory offers visitors an opportunity to explore their unique ice cream flavors. The facility has been around since 1954 and has a wide variety of flavors available: from chocolate chip cookies and waffles (my favorite), to vanilla custard or chocolate cake.
You can get there by bus or train; it's about 15 minutes away from the center of town by bus and 30 minutes by train.
If you do decide on taking public transportation, remember that most buses only run every hour during peak hours so plan accordingly!
Rosario Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Mangalore. The cathedral is located at the centre of the Mangalore city and has been declared as a heritage structure by UNESCO.
The building was constructed in 1826 by Fr. Jose Maria Adriaens van der Molen who later became its first Archdeacon (1856–1858). The church was dedicated to Our Lady after whom it took its name 'Rosario'. It was built on land donated by John Soap Company which had been bought from private owners for $30 million USD during colonial rule through an auction conducted by British authorities under Lord Canning's authority.[1]

It's quiet and peaceful with very little traffic passing by on the roads nearby. The area surrounding the Sultan Battery has many lakes and forests which make it great for hiking or just wandering around if you have time on your hands!
The Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Temple is located in the heart of Mangalore, and it is a popular tourist attraction. This beautiful temple has many interesting aspects that make it worth visiting if you have time to spare.
The most striking part about this temple is its architecture, which was built by Lord Vishnu during his incarnation as Keshavbhai Patel (a celebrated businessman).
This structure consists of nine domes covered with copper sheets and gold-plated domes on top, making it one of India’s most beautiful Temples and pilgrimage sites in Mangalore.
If you're looking for a beautiful cathedral, the Rosario Cathedral is a good place to start. It's located in the centre of Mangalore city and is home to many festivals and celebrations throughout the year.
The cathedral was built by Fr. Benedict Kerkar who came from Goa in 1622 AD to build this church which had been there since 1572 AD when it was constructed by Pope Gregory XIII himself!
