Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh is a city that has been around for centuries and continues to grow in popularity. It's home to some of India's most famous monuments and temples, but it also offers more than just history. Allahabad has beautiful gardens and parks that make it an ideal destination for picnics or day trips with friends or family members. The city has many festivals throughout the year so be sure to check out an event near you!
Weather in Allahabad is located in the Gangetic plain, a transitional zone between the Himalayan and Gangetic plains. The city has a monsoon-dominated climate with hot summers and cool winters.
The best time to visit Allahabad is between March and April when it's warm and sunny. From mid-March to early May, temperatures are mild with scant rainfall. This is also a good time of year for tourists looking for affordable accommodation options in India.
Allahabad is a place of great religious importance, and there are many festivals and celebrations throughout the year. The most famous festival is the Maha Kumbh Mela, which takes place every 12 years in Allahabad. This festival celebrates the arrival of the Ganges water to India by pilgrims bathing in it at various locations along its banks. It has been held since 1775 but was interrupted during World War II when most of these sites were occupied by British troops (some remain today).
There are a few times of the year that stand out as being ideal for spiritual pilgrimage in Allahabad.
The best time to visit Temples and pilgrimage sites in Allahabad for a spiritual pilgrimage is during the spring and summer months, which provides an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather while enjoying your time with friends and family. If you're looking for something more secluded, consider visiting in September or October when temperatures are cooler but not too cold (ideal). You can also opt for early spring if you want some snow on your trip!
If you prefer a more active experience then look no further than late autumn or early winter when there will be fewer tourists around so that it's easier to get away from them without feeling like everyone else on earth has come along with you!
If you want to enjoy the best of Allahabad, then peak season is the best time to visit. Peak season occurs between November and February with temperatures ranging from around 20 degrees Celsius during December and January to 28 degrees Celsius in March.
This is because, during this period, most people visit their hometowns after celebrating Holi or Diwali festivals at home or abroad. Also, it falls on the occasion of Mahashivratri which is celebrated across India with religious fervor and enthusiasm by believers who believe that visiting temples on that day will bring them closer to god through prayer rituals performed at these sacred places!
Monsoon rains are a great time to visit Allahabad. In fact, you can even have fun during monsoon at places like Har ki Pauri (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) or Fatehpur Sikri (an Iconic tourist destination).
