The Lepakshi Temple - One of the most famous temples in India which was built by Krishnadevaraya (1529-1579 AD) during his reign as King of Vijayanagara Empire. It is one of the most visited places in Andhra Pradesh with more than 100 million pilgrims visiting it every year.
Padmanabhaswamy Temple - This temple houses an idol said to be made out of single block stone and weighs about 3 tons! There are two idols inside this temple - one facing east towards Varanasi while other faces west towards Kanchipuram which represents Vishnu's boar incarnation named Varaha; however only one image can be seen at any given time due to religious rituals being performed here daily by devotees throughout year round!
