Siliguri is a city in West Bengal, India. It is the headquarters of the Darjeeling district and has been nicknamed "Gateway to the Hills". Siliguri is located on the bank of river Tista, which flows from Nepal into Assam state through Garo hills. As per 2011 census, it had a population of 71,838; male population was 48% female 48%.
The Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located in Darjeeling district of West Bengal and it's part of Eastern Himalayas. This sanctuary covers an area of around 895 km2, which includes three districts: Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Sikkim.
The main attractions here include snow leopards, tigers and ibexes among others!

Kurseong is a town in Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located at an altitude of 3,200 feet (912 m) above sea level. The town has been the summer capital since its founding by the British East India Company and is famous for its tea estates, which are still operated by them today.
Kurseong was founded in 1871 as a hill station for British officers and their families who were posted to this region by way of Darjeeling’s climate which was deemed more suitable than either Calcutta or Lucknow for health reasons. In fact it wasn't until after World War II that many Indians began coming here because they couldn't afford Delhi or Mumbai anymore due to inflation caused by war spending!

Coronation Bridge can be reached via Siliguri Road or New Jalpaiguri Road from Guwahati / Darjeeling through Kurseong (3 hours drive).
