Upcoming Events & Festivals in Koli Hil

Koli Hills is a hill station in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. It is located at an altitude of 450 m above mean sea level and has an average elevation of 450 meters (1500 feet). Koli Hills lies in the Malwa Plateau and is surrounded by the Satpura Range on its south side. The hills have many waterfalls, caves and lakes.

Koli Hills Summer Festival in May.

The Koli Hills Summer Festival is a fun-filled festival that celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Koli people. It is held at different venues across the hills, including Sittana College and St Mary’s Catholic Church Complex, where you will get to meet new people who share your interest in learning about our culture through food, music and dance performances. This event also provides an opportunity for businesspersons to network with likeminded individuals from all over India as well as abroad; it is therefore a great way to learn more about yourself as well as others around you!

Koli Hills Mango Festival in July.

The Koli Hills Mango Festival is a celebration of mangoes that takes place in July. This festival has been held every year at the end of March and beginning of April since 2003, when it was first organized by the Cultural Center of Koli Hills. It's an opportunity for everyone to taste some of the best mangoes in the world, as well as learn more about this delicious fruit and its history.

The event includes competitions such as eating contests (where participants eat their way through a buffet table), cooking classes with local chefs and other activities like a marketplace where you can buy local products made from mangoes or attend workshops on how to preserve them properly at home.

Koli Hills Boat Race in August.

The Koli Hills Boat Race is one of the most popular events in Koli Hills. It is held on August 16th and 17th each year.

The race starts at 12:00 pm, with participants racing down a straight stretch of water that measures 5 km long and 1 km wide (3 miles). The first boat to cross this distance wins!

The race also offers an opportunity for spectators to watch their favorite teams compete as well as participate themselves by joining them on board their boats or even bringing along their own vessel if they feel so inclined!

Participants who wish to participate in this event will have free entry into both days' races if they register beforehand online via Eventbrite or by contacting [email protected]

Koli Hills Photography Contest in September.

The Koli Hills Photography Contest is a great way to capture memories and share them with others. It’s also a great way to connect with others, express yourself, and show your love for nature.

Round 1 - First prize winners will receive a laptop computer! They can use it as they see fit (within reason). Second place winners will receive an iPad mini. Third place winners get nothing but bragging rights!

Koli Hills Bird Watching Tour in October.

Koli hills is a bird watching paradise. There are many species of birds in the hill regions, most of them are migratory and some stay there throughout the year. The best time to see birds is during winter when they come down from their nests at a height of 10-15000 feet above sea level.

Koli Hills Diwali Celebrations in November.

Diwali is a festival of lights and joys. It is celebrated by Hindus and Buddhists to mark the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, peace over fear and knowledge over ignorance. The day when Diwali shines bright across India is every year on the night between October 30th to November 2nd as per Hindu Calendar which falls on last Monday or Wednesday according to your local time zone. It's also known as Deepavali (the festival of lights) in some parts of India like Maharashtra & Gujarat among other states too! There are many festivals associated with Diwali celebrations held throughout Koli Hills that you must visit if you're planning your trip during this time period!

Koli Hills Christmas Carnival in December.

The carnival is held every year in December. The location of the event is at Koli Hills, with a capacity of 10,000 attendees and expected around 20-50 events during its duration. The theme of this year’s carnival is “Christmas Magic”, which will feature music performances by local artists like Hindustani classical vocalists and bhangra groups from Punjab along with international acts like American pop singer Kelly Clarkson who has performed here twice before (in 2013 & 2018). Activities include food stalls selling traditional sweets or savouries made using locally sourced ingredients such as vegetables or fish; rides for people aged 3-12 years old on ponies or donkeys that can be hired for ₹1000 per hour; face painting services provided by volunteers who use paints made out of natural ingredients such as turmeric/curd/cream etc.; carol singing competitions where participants compete against each other while singing carols such as "Jingle Bells" or "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"; games such as tug-of-war between teams representing well known brands such as Coca Cola Red Label , Pepsi etc., cricket matches between two sides representing India vs Pakistan , rugby union matches between British Army soldiers stationed in Kolkata against their Indian counterparts at Dum Dum Cantonment near Calcutta Airport .

Koli Hills New Year's Eve Party is a must-attend event in Koli Hills. It is a fun and exciting event that will bring you to the edge of your seat with its amazing performances by local artists, singers and dancers. The night will end with fireworks being set off at midnight on December 31st, marking the start of another new year!

Koli Hills Hiking Challenge in February.

The Koli Hills Hiking Challenge is a fun event that encourages people to get out of their comfort zone and get active. It’s also a great way to meet new people, increase your fitness level, and explore beautiful mountains in the Koli Hills.

The hike will start at 9:30 am on Saturday Feb 7th at the Bhojwari Sports Complex in Pune. The course takes about 4 hours and covers 6km (3 miles). You don’t have to be an experienced hiker but we recommend that you bring plenty of water along with some snacks like fruits or nuts as well as some energy bars if you feel hungry!

There are no restrictions on age or gender but please note that there may be other participants who have not read our 'rules' section below which explains how this event works - so please check those out first before signing up! We'd love for everyone who signs up for this challenge participate fully since it's going great fun so far :)

The Koli Hills Spring Festival, also known as Kolsar, attracts tourists from all over India to this beautiful hill station located in Darjeeling District. The event offers many activities such as dances, sports events and cultural programmes wherein people can participate at their own leisure time or can also enjoy it during their stay at Kolkata or other parts of West Bengal state

Koli Hills Handicrafts Fair in April.

The Koli Hills Handicrafts Fair is held in April. It is held at the Central Market, Kolkata and all of its shops are open for business. The fair offers a wide variety of products from across the state, including textiles from Darjeeling and Siliguri, block printing from Birbhum and handmade toys from Barddhaman.

You can visit this fair by taking an auto or going on foot from Howrah Station or Barasat station on route number 6A which runs through 2 different cities in West Bengal: Howrah & Malda Town Railway Station (MTNS). MTNSZGU is located right behind MTNS Railway Station so it's easy to get there!

The price range varies depending on what you're looking for but most items will be under 1000 rupees ($15 USD) - but if you're looking for something specific then I recommend checking out their website before going because they have some really cool stuff!

The festival also aims to promote traditional skills such as weaving and pottery making by showcasing them at various stalls set up around the town during this time.

Koli Hills Summer Camp for Kids in June.

Koli Hills Summer Camp for Kids in June is a fun and educational experience for children aged 6-12 years. It is a weeklong camp where children will learn about the natural world, nature, and conservation.

The program starts off with an orientation on Friday morning where they will be introduced to their teachers and other campers who they will be playing with over the next few days. This can include games like volleyball or football (soccer). Later that day we begin our hikes into Koli Hills Reserve where we get to see animals such as monkeys, birds and even elephants! After lunch we spend time doing arts & crafts projects together while listening to stories about different animals that live there today! We finish up by watching a movie before heading back home at nightfall where our parents pick us up after dinner which usually consists of homemade rice dishes served hot from our mother's kitchen! The next morning starts early again with breakfast before moving onto another activity which could include storytelling sessions led by some local community members who live closeby but also sometimes other activities like yoga classes taught by professional instructors hired by us through outside contractors."

You can expect pleasant Weather in Koli Hills. It is located at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, which is cooler than most other places in India and provides you with some relief from the summer heat. The temperature ranges between 20°C to 30°C during summers, while it remains mostly comfortable throughout the year.

The best time to visit this hill station is between October and March when temperatures are lower and you'll get more sunlight during your stay here!
