Lachung is a small town in the Nagri district of Sikkim, India. It is located at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level and is known for its hot spring water and monasteries. Lachung celebrates many festivals throughout the year including Lho-nga Festival, Rhododendron Festival, Losar Festival, Pang Lhabsol Festival and Harvest Festival .
The Lachung Summer Festival is a festival that is held in Lachung every year. It is a festival that celebrates the summer season, which occurs from June to August. Every year this festival attracts thousands of people from all over Bhutan and beyond who come for fun and enjoyment.
The main attraction of the event is its various cultural performances such as dance, music and drama performances by local artists as well as international artists such as Rock bands or pop stars who use Bhutanese instruments like “Thangka” (drums) etc., make it an unforgettable experience for all visitors!
The Lachung Monastery Festival is held in the monastery, where you can see festivals and performances.
The festival is held in the month of March, 2023. It begins with a parade on the 10th day (the exact date changes every year) that goes around town and ends at the monastery gates. After this parade, there are several events held at various places around town including a puppet show, traditional dance performances and more!
The Lachung Yak Festival is a festival celebrating the yak, which is a domesticated animal. The yak is a symbol of happiness, good fortune and longevity. It also represents wealth because it can eat grasses that grow on mountainsides or fields in summertime.
The festival will take place at various locations throughout Lachung County from July 19-20th 2018.

Lachung Namsoong Festival is a festival held in the month of June in Lachung Village, Bhutan. The festival is held to mark the birthday of Guru Rinpoche, who is also known as Padmasambhava (Precious Jewel). The main purpose of this festival is to worship and devotionally venerate Lord Buddha, who was born on this special day
This year’s event will be held from June 23-24th (Monday-Tuesday) at Gurudwara Sahib Gurdwara Lachung. You can visit this gurudwara by taking an early morning bus from Paro or Thimphu Bus Terminal.

Lachung Tashi Lhunpo Monastery Festival
The Lachung Tashi Lhunpo Monastery Festival is a Tibetan Buddhist festival and it is held in Gyantse, Tibet. It starts on June 4th and ends on June 9th every year. The festival has been held since 1998 when it was first organized by the Tibetans who lived there as well as some other international delegates from India who were interested in learning more about their culture.
The main purpose of this festival is to celebrate the birthday anniversary of His Holiness Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), founder of the Gelugpa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism which later became known as Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect within Buddhism due to its yellow hat robes worn by monks during services.
Lachung Cham Dance Festival is a cultural festival that takes place in Lachung, Sikkim. It is held every year in the month of April and it celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Rinpoche. The festival attracts thousands of tourists from all over India and other parts of Asia who come to witness this unique event which brings together dancers from all over India as well as Tibetans from mainland China. The highlight of this event is its traditional dance performances by different tribes including Garo, Lepcha & Bhutia people who perform their live dances for audience entertainment with music provided by their own instruments such as flute & drumbeat etc..
