Ganesh Chaturthi - This festival celebrates Lord Ganesha's birthday on August 11th every year when people visit Nahan Temples and pilgrimage sites around town to offer prayers to him or buy idols from shops selling them (or both). Priests perform various activities during this time such as tying threads onto statues of Ganesha while they dance around them while playing drums; they also offer sweets made out of sugarcane juice called "makkhan" along with coconut water which refers back specifically to how people used these ingredients during ancient times when there weren't many refrigerators available yet so most foods had been stored under hot suns instead."
