Shrivardhan is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the banks of river Barwani, approximately 70 km from Ujjain and 60 km from Gwalior. Shrivardhan lies in the central part of India and is surrounded by districts like Gwalior, Bhopal and Sehore. The city has been famous for its ancient temples like Mandleshwar Mahadev temple which is one among four major Shiva temples in India. The other three are located at Konkan region near Mumbai also known as Baghwaneshwar Jain Temple at Lonavala & Khandoba temple at Ikona village near Pune city

Shrivardhan Beach Festival

The Shrivardhan Beach Festival is a cultural festival that takes place in Shrivardhan, India. It is held in the month of August every year. This festival celebrates the culture and tradition of Shrivardhan.

It has been organized by the Tourism Department of Madhya Pradesh State Government since 2004.

Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrated in memory of the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is believed to be the son of Shiva and Parvati. It is celebrated on the fifth day of the waxing moon in the month of Shravan, which falls between August and September. The festival begins with an oath ceremony where worshippers take an oath that they will not harm anyone or anything during this auspicious period.

On this day, families gather together to perform puja (worship) to Lord Ganesha by placing his idol in their homes or temples. During this time, people also enjoy music performances and other festivities such as parades through streets lined with flowers or garlands made from marigold petals tied around wrists or necks

After this they exchange gifts with each other like sweets etc., which are called “Rangoli” art made with colored powders or pastes on paper sheets placed on floors etc., which are called “Bhajan” song sung by a group choir dressed in traditional clothes singing prayers from Hindu scriptures such as Ramayana etc..

Gudi Padwa

Gudi Padwa is a Hindu festival celebrated on the first day of the waxing month of Ashvin. It marks the beginning of spring and marks the end of winter season. In this festival, people worship their mother cow as it is considered to be one of their most sacred animals. The color green symbolizes fertility, prosperity and new life; hence people wear a yellow or orange dress during this festival which corresponds with these colors too!

Gudi Padwa also signifies peace for all living beings around us; therefore it is celebrated by lighting lamps in front of temples or homes where there are devotees who worship goddess Lakshmi (goddess Saraswati).

The celebrations are centered around worshiping Lord Shiva at his temple located at Shrivardhan town in Madhya Pradesh state of India during this period.

Buddha Purnima

Buddha Purnima is the full moon day in the lunar month of Ashvin, also known as Full Moon Day. It is observed on the first day of bright half of a lunar month and falls around mid-June or early July.

Buddha Purnima celebrates Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death anniversary by fasting and praying for peace & prosperity. People offer water to their ancestors during this festival as an offering to them so that they may live long lives without illness or other problems in life.
