Horanadu is a picturesque town that is located in the western part of Karnataka state. It has been recognized as one of the best places to visit in Karnataka due to its scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage. The ancient Horanadu Temple is located in the town of Horanadu, which has been a popular tourist destination for centuries. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Annapoorneshwari and believed to have been built by Emperor Ashoka. Kuduremukha National Park is a protected area in Horanadu. The Garden and parks is a popular tourist spot and has been named as one of the top 10 wildlife sanctuaries in India by Travel & Leisure magazine. It is also considered to be one of the best birdwatching sites in Eastern Ghats due to its vibrant green forests and numerous species of birds that can be spotted here.
The park offers visitors an opportunity to witness natural beauty at its best as they explore its pristine forests, freshwater lakes, waterfalls and other attractions like snake sanctuaries or elephant corridors along with other wildlife species (tiger snakes).
Sringeri is one of the most important places in India. The temple is a symbol of cultural heritage and history. The temple was built by Teja Gada, who was a king from the Vijayanagara empire. He lived around 1650 CE and built this beautiful structure using granite stones quarried from nearby hills.
The architecture of this temple is unique because it has been built using natural materials like sandstones and granite rocks instead of brick masonry like most other Temples and pilgrimage sites in Horanadu. This makes it easier for visitors to appreciate its beauty without worrying about damaging anything inside or outside the building during their visit!
In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, Sringeri Mutt also houses some stunning sculptures inside its premises which tell us about how Hinduism sees itself as partaking multiple aspects within one entity: God himself through avataras (incarnations) such as Krishna or Rama; his wife Radha; his brother Laksmana; his friends Viswakarma & Varunadevar etc...
Horanadu Falls is a popular picnic spot, swimming spot and fishing spot. You can also visit the falls for picnicking and hiking.
The falls are located in Horanadu village near Digboi town in Assam state of India. The waterfall has a height of about 50 meters (164 ft). It cascades down into two basins separated by about 30 metres (98 ft) wide rocks that make up its base where fresh water flows into it from its source above ground level.[6]
Kalaseshwara Temple is located in the town of Horanadu and is a popular tourist attraction. The temple is known for its intricate carvings and sculptures, which have been preserved over time. The temple also has a beautiful garden with many statues of deities.
This temple was built during the reign of Hoysala kings, who ruled parts of Karnataka state from between 1110 AD to 1343 AD. It was destroyed by Muslims during their invasion into southern India but rebuilt later by Vijayanagara kings around 1450 AD, who added more sculptures to enhance its beauty
Witness the stunning Hanumanagundi Falls and admire the cascading waterfalls amidst lush greenery. The falls are located in the village of Hanumanagundi, in the Horanadu taluk of Hassan district in Karnataka.
The waterfall was formed by a stream known as "Kolveri River" which flows into Tungabhadra river before flowing towards Mysore city.
The Gorur Dam is a scenic spot that offers scenic views of the surrounding hills. It is one of the popular picnic spots in Horanadu and can be easily accessed by road or train from Kollam Junction railway station. The dam was built during the British regime to provide water to the people living on its banks, which includes Alappuzha district, Thiruvananthapuram city, Kollam district etc.
The dam has a length of 1 km and breadth at least 0.5 km while it has an elevation difference between sea level and 100 feet above ground level (AGL). This makes it one among top 10 highest dams in India along with Varanasi Barrage Dam or Banasura Sagar Dam located in Uttar Pradesh state near Varanasi city in Uttar Pradesh state

The temple complex at Talakadu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. It includes five temples that were built by different dynasties over time between 6th century BC to 12th century AD (600-1200 CE). The first two temples are built on top of rock outcrops while other three follow along an ancient footpath which leads up to hilltop from where they can be seen by visitors below them—allowing them to take advantage of their elevated location while still enjoying great views across valleys below!
