Chandragad is one of the most popular hill stations in Maharashtra. It is located around 155 km from Pune, and you can reach here by train or car. The best time to visit Chandragad is between October and February, when it offers pleasant weather conditions and plenty of greenery around.
If you are looking for a time period when the Chandragad weather is good, then October to February is ideal for visiting Chandragad. Avoid the monsoon season as it can get very hot and humid. Winter offers pleasant weather with mild temperatures and an occasional snowfall during winter months. Spring may also be good if you enjoy seeing flowers blooming in the fields or forests around Chandragad village. Summers are hot but good for sightseeing as well as trekking in nearby forests or mountainsides of Chandergad Village; however, avoid this time if you do not have any health issues related with high temperatures such as heat exhaustion or dehydration caused by too much sweating during walking around outside activities at high altitudes (elevation above 3000m).
The monsoon season is the rainy season. It's from June to September, and it can be a time of heavy rains and lightning storms. This is why you should avoid visiting Chandragad during the monsoon season:
Floods occur when there's too much rain in one place at once, such as an overflowing river or lake; if you live near any of these places or work near them, then this could pose a serious risk to your life!
Landslides are caused by mudslides that slide down hillsides onto houses below them—and many people have died because they couldn't get out fast enough!
In winter, the climate is pleasant and you can enjoy trekking. It's also a good time for photography and hiking. Winter is not only ideal for skiing but also snowboarding which makes it even better!

Chandragad has a number of birds that you can expect to see at this time of the year, including flocks of migratory birds like pigeons and black-necked cranes. The best time for birdwatching in Chandragad is from mid-November through mid-March when there are fewer people around and you'll have more space for yourself. You might also see peacocks during the monsoons if they're looking for food or water, which they will find easily here because all vegetation has been cleared away so that trees can grow back naturally on their own roots (this process takes several years). If you're interested in adventure activities such as bungee jumping or sky diving then this would be one place where those things would be possible since there aren't any tall buildings nearby preventing anyone from getting hurt if something goes wrong during their jump/flight experience (if someone does get injured though then at least there is plenty medical help nearby).
November is a great time to visit Chandragad. The best months for trekking are from September through December, with monsoon rains providing a pleasant atmosphere and making it easier to get around in the hills. The best times for adventure activities are between March and May when you can enjoy hiking at any time of day or night without having to worry about inclement weather conditions. You'll also find some fantastic photography opportunities here during these months because most of India's wildlife species come out at night time—and this includes tigers!
The month of February sees a huge influx of tourists visiting Chandragad due its proximity with Mumbai; however if you're looking specifically for adventure holidays then we recommend avoiding this period entirely as hordes of people mean lots more congestion on roads leading up towards the hill fort itself - so please keep this in mind when planning ahead!
