Kundapur is a beautiful town that has been attracting tourists for many years now. The temperature here during summer months is high and so it becomes difficult to stay here during this time if one wants fresh air without having any problem with hot weather conditions. However, if you come here in winter then it would be better because there will not be much humidity while travelling through valleys during winters which makes your journey comfortable as well as enjoyable!
Summer season lasts from March–June while winter lasts from October–February. Spring comes just before summer ends; however fall starts right after spring ends (around May).
Be aware of your surroundings.
Avoid dark alleys and crowded places.
Keep an eye on your belongings while in public transport or at any public place, especially parks and playgrounds.
Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Don't be afraid to speak up.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, laugh or smile when you trip while walking down the street, open your mouth and say something stupid like “I love you!” Or simply look around at everything with awe in your eyes. The locals will love it!
Eat as much food as possible!
Avoid using the local buses.
Use the local trains instead.
Use the local taxis instead (especially if you're a woman). This is especially important because most of these drivers are very sexist and will not let you into their cars unless you're wearing a burqa or something similar to it. They also don't speak English, so communication is difficult—but that's why we invented Google Translate!
Rickshaws are available for hire in many parts of Kundapur, but they can be expensive (about Rs 300 per hour) and only travel within town limits; if you plan on travelling outside Kundapur city limits, then definitely consider using one instead since they'll save money compared with taking public transportation during peak hours which charge around Rs 20 per kilometer round trip depending on location & time frame desired
