Bellikkal is a place of great beauty and diversity. The region has many festivals and events that showcase local culture and traditionsThis festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the region. It will be held from June 21 to 23, 2018. The festival is organized by Kadayamana Kural Society, a local non-profit organization working towards preserving oral traditions through dance and music performances. The event aims at promoting Bellikkal as a tourist destination while strengthening its bond with nature through community initiatives like eco-tourism activities at nearby hillsides or forest trails leading up to this area's highest peak (3126 m).
The participants include women folk artists from all over Kerala who perform some traditional dances like Bhajanamuttam, Onna Parakkum Thullal etc., along with other art forms such as Kathakali & Mohiniyattom (traditional drama) which are performed during special occasions such as weddings or religious festivals in order to entertain audiences for hours on end!
The Flower Show is held in the month of May every year. It is a local event and it is free for all to attend. It celebrates the cultural heritage of Bellikkal and its people.

The Bellikkal Trekking Festival offers guided trekking tours in the surrounding hills. The trek starts from Palakkad and ends at Thamarassery. It takes about 6 hours to complete this trek, which can be commuted by car or taxi from either Palakkad or Thamarassery.
This festival is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April and lasts for about 5 days with many events happening during that time period including music concerts, cultural programs and food festivals where people come together under one roof to celebrate their culture together as well as enjoy some delicious food items cooked by local chefs who participate in these events every year without fail!

The first ever Bellikkal fast food restaurants will be held at St Theresa’s College on February 1st - 3rd 2019. The festival aims at showcasing our rich culinary heritage through a series of events that showcase traditional dishes, local produce and traditional drinks prepared by home cooks who are passionate about cooking delicious food.
