The Boating Festival is held in June. It is held on the beach and features various activities, including a boat race, swimming contests and water sports. There are also food stalls where you can purchase delicious local delicacies such as seafood or corn soup!
The event starts at 10:00am on Saturday morning, ending around 4:00pm; Sunday sees a shorter duration (9:00am–4:00pm). On Monday there will be no festival activities due to the fact that it falls on a holiday for many people who work in Calangute such as fishermen who may have gone fishing during their time off from work (egged-up).
The National Water Sports Festival is a three day event that takes place in Calangute and it showcases the best of water sports from around the country. The festival has been going on for over 20 years now, and it’s one of the biggest events on the calendar for Calangute locals.

The International Kite Festival is held annually in August at Fort Aguada, Calangute. This festival is one of the most popular traditional events in Goa, where people come from far and wide to participate. Carnival at Fort Aguada
Carnival is a festival that takes place in Goa, India. It’s one of the most popular festivals in Goa and attracts large crowds from all over India to this region every year. The best time to visit Calangute during carnival is from October 1st to 5th, when there are many festivities going on throughout town including live music performances, street dancing and much more!
