Singrauli is a district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is known for its coal mining and thermal power plants. Singrauli has also been proposed as one of the sites for the proposed second capital city of India. The region was once famous for its quality coal mined from beds near the village of Naini Tal in the district.[1]

Singrauli Food Fest

The Singrauli Food Festival is organised by the government of Madhya Pradesh and held in different parts of the city. It is one of the biggest festivals in Singrauli and attracts people from all over India, as well as tourists from abroad.

The first ever food festival was held on 1st May 2018 at its new location near Satrundha garden and Parks which has been built specifically for this purpose. This year’s edition will be held between 9th March-10th April 2019 again at the same venue but with some changes:

Instead of having just two days there will now be four days (9-11 March).

There will also be more stalls this time around with around 30 instead than 20 last year.

Singrauli Cultural Fair

Singrauli Cultural Fair is a festival of art and culture. It is held every year in February, which happens to be the month of Holi. The festival showcases the rich heritage of Singrauli region by showcasing its architecture, crafts, music and dance performances by local artists.

Singrauli Cultural Fairs have been organized since 1969 to promote the unique culture of this area through various events like folk dances or musical concerts etc., which attracts large number of people from all over India as well as abroad who come here for fun & enjoyment!

Singrauli Music Festival

Singrauli is a city full of music and it's the perfect place to showcase your talent. Every year, the town hosts the Singrauli Music Festival which is a platform for local musicians, singers and artists.

The festival is held in June every year at Kailash Park. It brings together various genres like classical music, folk music and even jazz along with contemporary popular songs from Bollywood or Hollywood movies.

The district also has many Singrauli Temples and pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva which are known as ‘Shiva Mandirs’ or ‘Shiva Lingams’ . These temples were built during Mahabharata period (3rd century BC) by King Anangaputra Yudhishthira's son Bheemaraja Pandava who was born here in his father's court but later became king himself after killing his brother Draupadi who had married Arjuna before him

Singrauli Sports Day is a sports festival held in the month of March, April and May. It is one of the largest festivals in Singrauli district and it hosts competitions for different games like Kabaddi, Volleyball, Table Tennis etc.

Singrauli Literary Festival

The Singrauli Literary Festival is an annual event held in June. It’s a 2-day literary festival that takes place in the city of Bhopal and features writers from all over India, as well as international guests.

The festival has been running for over 20 years now and attracts thousands of readers every year who come to explore new books, meet authors and enjoy live performances by artists such as Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and folk singer Dev Negi.

Singrauli Literary Festival

The Singrauli Literary Festival is an annual event that takes place in the city of Singrauli, India. The festival was founded in 2016 by writer and activist Kamal Kishore, who has been organizing it since then. The Singrauli Science Fair (SFSF) is a great way to get kids interested in science, engineering and biology. This year’s SFSF will be held at the BHU campus on January 31st and 1st of February 2018. The registration for the event will start from 15th of December 2017 with an entry fee of Rs 100/- per participant and a fine of Rs 100/- per day.

Singrauli Photography Exhibition

The Singrauli Photography Exhibition is an annual exhibition of photographs taken in the district. The exhibition will be held at the city hall from February to April and admission is free.

Singrauli Street Food Festival is a festival of street food in Singrauli. The festival is held in the month of February every year. The festival is organised by the Singrauli Tourism Development Corporation (STDC).

The STDC organises this event to promote and showcase different varieties of traditional dishes from various parts of our region and help people get to know about their local cuisine as well as that prepared by other regions across India. This can be done through various cooking workshops, quizzes, contests etc., where people can learn how to prepare these delicacies at home
