The state of Maharashtra is home to some of India's most beautiful sights. From lush greenery and waterfalls to tribal culture, Dudhni Lake and its surrounding areas are a must-visit on any trip to Maharashtra.
Dudhni Lake is a manmade lake and a popular picnic spot. The lake has boathouses, water sports centre, boat house, and also a Dudhni restaurant. It's also located near the Dudhni Fort which is an old French fortress built by the British in 1853 to protect their position at Chambal River during 1857 Mutiny.
Ziplining is a fun way to see the countryside, while rappelling is a great way to get in touch with nature. Both activities are also sure-fire ways to get exercise and build up your strength. You can do them on your own or with friends!
Tribal culture is a unique form of folk art that originated in the villages of Warli and Vagad. The term “tribal” refers to both the community of people who belong to it as well as their traditional ways of life and culture.
The Warlis are one such tribe, who make up a small community with several hundred members. They live in villages around Pardi taluka, which lies on the border between Gujarat and Maharashtra states.Their history goes back some 500 years when they were forced by Muslim invaders into exile from their ancestral land near Dwarka (Gujarat). Since then they have lived peacefully within this region despite many attempts by other communities over time to invade them again
Kothaligad is a hilltop village located in the Dudhni Taluka of Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra. It is a popular tourist destination and has panoramic views of surrounding area.
The trek starts from Kothaligad fort, which was built by Shivaji Bhosale around 1640 AD. The trek takes about 2 hours to reach its highest point at 1,500 feet above sea level (ASL). There are several other places where you can visit during your stay in Dudhnii including Taal Gaon Lake and Shitalgadh Fort which are about 60 km away from this place on road or railway tracks respectively
Vajrai Falls is a waterfall in Dudhni Taluka, Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra. The waterfall is located at a height of 870 m above sea level.
The waterfall has been created by the river Godavari which flows through Dudhni Taluka. There are several other waterfalls on this river including Bhorangi Falls and Kalpeshwar Falls which are worth visiting if you are looking for some adventure activities around your home town or city!

The Mahalaxmi Temple is located in the city of Kolhapur, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus who believe that it is the home of Goddess Mahalaxmi. The temple was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during his lifetime and it has been rebuilt several times over the years.
The main deity at this temple is Mahalaxmi, an incarnation of Parvati (the wife of Lord Shiva). She is considered to be an ideal woman and therefore represents motherly love and devotion to her husband.
Bhuleshwar Temple is located in the town of Bhuleshwar. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped as a deity here. The temple was built by King Abhimanyu I in 10th century AD and it has been renovated several times since then.
The architecture of this ancient monument represents various styles such as Gupta, Chalukya and Rajput styles with some features from Western medieval period added later on during 16th century AD when it was rebuilt by King Vikramaditya II after an earthquake damaged its earlier structure due to which he ordered for its reconstruction at this location instead of moving it somewhere else like Prayag or Ayodhya because that would have cost too much money so instead he decided on building another shrine dedicated only towards Lord Shiva whose devotees wanted more space than what they had before so, therefore, they chose Bhuleshwar itself where there weren't any other Dudhni Temples and pilgrimage sites around them yet but now we do see many tourists visiting this place regularly every year because these two places together make up about 60% percent population wise compared with other nearby townships like Mathura etcetera).
Shopping is a huge part of the Indian experience. There are hundreds of markets all over India, but Dudhni has two that are particularly worth checking out:
The Central Market is located on the outskirts of town, and it's open every day except Monday. Here you'll find everything from dried fruit to spices to clothing items—and don't forget to check out their selection of paintings by local artists!
The Night Market is less than 15 minutes away from your accommodation by car or taxi (it's about 10 minutes by foot). This night market sells everything from souvenirs like carved wooden figurines and cloth bags with pictures on them, to delicious food items like roti (bread) or chai (tea). You can also buy ice cream here at any time during business hours!
Bird watching is a great way to see the natural world. It's also a wonderful way to get in touch with nature and its diversity, which is one of the many reasons why people love bird watching so much.
Bird watching spots are rare species that are difficult for humans to find due to their location or habitat. Some examples include:
Kikali Dam is a picnic spot. It's a good place to relax and spend time with friends, family or even on your own. The dam is located in Dudhni and offers great views of the lake, which makes it easy for you to take pictures. You can also swim in the lake if you want!
Warli dishes are unique to the region, and they’re served with rice. The food is spicy, so if you don't like hot food then this place isn't for you.
The food here is also served with roti (bread), which can be eaten plain or dipped in sauce of your choice. You might want to order a side dish like dal (lentil soup) or sabzi (vegetables).
If you’re looking to get a taste of village life, then try staying at one of the many homestays in Dudhni. A homestay is an experience like no other! It can be an unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting more. The local cuisine, market and festivals are all just as important as your stay in the house itself.
Homestays also offer an opportunity to get involved with local traditions and customs by learning about them firsthand from their families who live there for generations or even centuries!
You can celebrate with locals, family and friends or community. You can also celebrate with culture, religion and tradition.
Festivals & Fairs:
Dudhni is known for its festivals and fairs where you will get to experience the best of this city every year. Some of these festivals include:
Holi Festival (March/April) - Celebrated on the last day of winter season marking victory over darkness by throwing colours on each other. This festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm by people from all walks of life including kids who dress up like gods or goddesses for this occasion!
