The city of Siliguri is a famous tourist destination in West Bengal. It is located on the banks of River Teesta and has many attractions for visitors. The city has been developed to cater to the needs of tourists over the years, and there are lots of places to visit here
The Kanchenjunga view is a must-see. It is an excellent place to visit if you want to see the Himalayan mountain range. The view of the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary and its surrounding area can be seen from here. You will be able to see the city of Siliguri, Darjeeling and Gangtok too in peak season when there are fewer visitors around.
Salugara Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in West Bengal, India. It is located near the town of Siliguri, about 20 km from the city of Darjeeling. The monastery was founded by Anagarika Dharmapala in 1898 and has an annual congregation of 500 monks and nuns.
Salugara Monastery consists of several buildings including:
Main hall where visitors can see statues or murals depicting stories from Buddha's life (including one portraying him as a child)
Meditation hall with paintings depicting deities who protect those who meditate here
Dining room which is used for special occasions such as weddings or birthdays
The Teesta River is a popular white water rafting destination. The river is found in the state of West Bengal, India and it runs through the Darjeeling district.
White water rafting is something that you can do during your trip to Siliguri. This will be an exciting adventure that you'll remember for years to come!
You should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that fit well because your feet will be wet for awhile after getting back on dry land (or if you decide not to go). You may want some kind of waterproof jacket or pants too so that if there's rain while you're out on the river, then at least your clothing won't get wet too quickly!
Prepare yourself physically by eating well before going out into nature; drink plenty of fluids; try not eat anything too heavy just before going out on this adventure so as not make yourself sick later on after eating all those good foods like pizza or burgers...and don't forget sunscreen cream! If possible bring along some reading material such as books or magazines since sitting still for long periods can become boring after awhile...
Surya Sen Park is a beautiful picnic spot, located in the heart of Siliguri. It is a great place for families to relax and have fun. The park has lots of recreational facilities like tennis courts, basketball court and more which makes it an ideal destination for your vacation or weekend getaways with friends or family members.
There are also plenty of entertainment options available at this park such as indoor games like pool tables and air hockey tables that you can play during your stay here at Surya Sen Park. If you want something more adventurous then why not try out some boating on one of their boats?

The area around the main entrance of Hong Kong Market is very busy during peak hours because it’s located near all major roads leading into town; however, if you want to avoid all the traffic then don’t worry because there are other entrances as well which will lead you straight into this bustling area!
Birdwatching is a popular hobby in India, and Gorumara National Park is a birdwatching destination. Gorumara National Park is located in West Bengal and protected as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Gangetic Plains of Bengal”. The park has more than 300 species of birds including rare ones like painted stork (Casmerodius albus), white-rumped vulture (Gyps indicus), black kite hawk (Milvus migrans) and Indian cuckoo (Cuculus micropterus). The best time to visit this region is between October and March when most migratory birds arrive here during their wintering period which lasts from November to March each year.
ISKCON is a Hindu organization that was founded in India. It is popular for its religious and spiritual activities. The temple is located at the foothill of Siliguri's Salt Lake City, where devotees worship Lord Krishna through meditation and prayer.
ISKCON also offers facilities to all its visitors including vegetarian food, books on Hinduism and yoga classes at their different centres around the world including this one located in Siliguri (Uttarakhand).
To reach Darjeeling from Kolkata, you can take a train or a bus. The journey takes about ten hours and costs around Rs 1,500 ($22). You will be given a ticket for your seat on the train and it will be valid for 24 hours after which it must be used up or exchanged for another traveller's ticket.
There are two options when it comes to visiting Darjeeling: the first is by car; this requires an overnight stay in Calcutta before travelling to Siliguri via Kolkata by bus (a distance of about 600km). Alternatively, you can fly into Siliguri airport (about 40 minutes away from central Darjeeling) then catch another flight back down south before heading into town again via bus or even car hire if necessary!
To reach Jhandi Dara Sunrise Point, you will need to take a bus or taxi from Siliguri. The journey takes approximately 2hrs 30min and costs about Rs 170.
Once you reach the location, expect to see an array of trees that form an amazing canopy over your head. The area is very secluded and there are only 2-3 other people around who seem to be enjoying their time there as well!
If possible, bring water with you because there aren't any shops nearby where one can stock up on supplies before heading out on foot into such a beautiful place! If not able to find any bottled water available anywhere near this spot then try searching online as some stores offer free delivery services too!
The North Bengal Science Centre is a non-profit organization that provides a range of educational services to children in Siliguri. Its main aim is to educate the younger generation about science and technology, as well as provide them with opportunities for hands-on learning.
The centre can be found on the second floor of the building and offers many classes, including robotics workshops and computer programming courses designed specifically for children between the ages of 5-12 years old. It also offers after school activities such as science clubs where students learn about different topics like astronomy or chemistry through fun games!
City Centre Mall is a shopping mall in Siliguri. It is located near the bus stand and has many stores, including a food court. The mall is open from 10 am to 10 pm daily, with a parking lot available for customers who wish to park their vehicles in this area.
Adventure sports are extremely popular in India and Siliguri is no exception to this rule. There are many adventure parks around the city that you can visit if you want to try out some exciting activities with your friends or family members. One of the most famous adventure parks in Siliguri is Tenzing Norgay Stadium, which was established by a local entrepreneur named Ashok Singh and his wife Tara Singh. The stadium has been named after British mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary who was also born in this region (now known as Himachal Pradesh). It also has an amphitheater-style seating arrangement so that anyone can enjoy watching movies or plays while they're having fun themselves too!
Happy Valley Tea Estate is a tea estate in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. It is located in the heart of the Darjeeling Himalayan region and produces Darjeeling tea.
The estate is owned by the Indian Tea Association and has been in operation since 1867.
